The National Guard corps says it is working with other Ukrainian units as constant aerial surveillance makes movement in the open increasingly difficult.
Ukraine's National Guard 2nd Corps, Khartiia, released footage on October 21 of an underground operation called Veles, Novynarnia reported, citing the corps. Khartiia said it was conducting the operation with other units of Ukraine's defence forces.
Novynarnia described the footage as showing Ukrainian troops working underground. The corps said constant aerial surveillance was making it increasingly difficult to move in the open.
The corps did not disclose the operation's objectives, location or progress. Novynarnia's report did not specify its timing or give any results.
