In brief
The domestically made platform is designed to carry weapons, ammunition and equipment off-road; orders and delivery dates were not disclosed.
Ukraine's Defence Ministry has codified and approved the Varkhan ground robotic system for supply to the armed forces, Novynarnia reported, citing an October 5 ministry announcement.
Developed by an unnamed Ukrainian defence enterprise in response to military requests, the platform is intended to transport weapons, ammunition and equipment off-road. It has a 4×4 chassis, ground clearance above 200 mm, quick-release batteries and multiple communications and control systems.
The ministry said tests demonstrated the ability to carry hundreds of kilograms over several dozen kilometres, without giving precise payload or range figures. The announcement does not specify orders, delivery dates or deployment in military units.
