Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation said it had delivered another batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian defence ministry, UNIAN reported on October 7.
The manufacturer said the aircraft had completed ground and flight factory tests and departed for their duty station. UNIAN’s report did not specify the delivery date or receiving unit.
UNIAN said two aircraft were visible together in released images, but that does not establish the total number delivered. The publication describes the Su-34 as a carrier of guided bombs fitted with glide and correction kits used against Ukraine; its report did not specify whether aircraft from this batch had taken part in those attacks.
