More than 210 Moscow flights delayed or cancelled, RBC-Ukraine reports

In brief

The outlet cited a Telegram channel for the disruption following a reported Ukrainian drone attack; its report included no official airport closure announcement.

More than 210 flights at Moscow airports were delayed or cancelled following a reported Ukrainian drone attack, RBC-Ukraine reported on October 24, citing the Telegram channel Ostorozhno, Moskva.

The report listed 65 departing and 106 arriving flights affected at Sheremetyevo, with about 40 flights affected at Vnukovo. It did not give separate totals for delays and cancellations. Sheremetyevo passengers described long waits in Terminal D and repeated changes to departures.

RBC-Ukraine said there were no official airport closure announcements. It also reported that Domodedovo’s homepage, flight information board and most other website services were inaccessible, while ticket purchases remained available. The report did not establish the cause of that website outage or link it to the attack.
