A Russian drone struck an apartment building in Sumy on October 6, hurting a 16-year-old boy and a woman, the regional military administration said, according to Novynarnia. The boy suffered minor injuries, while the woman received assistance at the scene.

City military administration chief Serhii Kryvosheienko said a jet-powered drone hit between the third and fourth floors of the building in the city's Zarichnyi district, RBC-Ukraine reported. The strike caused a fire and damaged the building's wall, windows and balconies, as well as parked cars.

The attack also damaged windows and doors at a kindergarten. Regional authorities said the children were in a shelter during the strike and none was hurt.
