In brief
Routes from Kyiv and Dnipro will serve Chełm and Przemyśl, with onward connections to other European cities.
Ukrzaliznytsia has announced three international train services from Kyiv and Dnipro to Poland, UNIAN reported on October 21, citing the railway operator's Facebook announcement. UNIAN's report did not specify the first departure dates, ticket prices or time zones for the published timetable.
Train No. 23/24 from Kyiv to Chełm will be named after Ukrainian historian and Central Rada leader Mykhailo Hrushevsky, who was born in Chełm and worked in Kyiv. It is scheduled to leave at 21:48 and arrive at 08:08, using higher-comfort carriages built in Ukraine, the operator said.
Train No. 31/32 from Kyiv to Przemyśl is scheduled to depart at 21:30 and arrive at 08:19, stopping in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Lviv. Ukrzaliznytsia said passengers could connect in Przemyśl to services for Berlin, Prague, Kraków, Katowice and Wrocław.
Train No. 73/74 from Dnipro to Przemyśl is scheduled to leave at 19:00 and arrive at 14:10. The operator said onward connections would be available to Kraków, Warsaw, Prague and Munich; those journeys require a change of train.
