In brief
The basic rate remains 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour, with a reduced rate for certain households. The pricing mechanism has been extended until April 30, 2027, the energy minister said.
Ukraine’s government has kept household electricity tariffs unchanged for the 2026–27 heating season, RBC-Ukraine and Novynarnia reported, citing Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The basic household rate remains 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour. Shmyhal said the government had extended the electricity market’s public service obligation mechanism until April 30, 2027, according to Novynarnia.
A reduced rate of 2.64 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour remains in place for specified categories, including homes with electric heating and homes without gas connections or central heating. The cited reports did not specify the full eligibility conditions or any consumption limits.
Koretskyi said the government planned further work on electricity pricing and more targeted support for people who need it. That statement concerned future policy work; the announced decision keeps existing prices in place for the heating season.
