Ukrainian men aged 25–34 earned median 6,800 zlotys in Poland, report says

In brief

The 2025 figure measures monthly take-home pay. Longer hours may explain higher earnings without higher hourly rates, a Gremi Personal adviser said.

Ukrainian men aged 25–34 working in Poland earned a median of about 6,800 zlotys a month after tax in 2025, RBC-Ukraine reported on October 24, citing Gremi Personal and Deloitte data. The report put the corresponding figure for all workers in that age group at about 5,300 zlotys.

The comparison does not extend to all Ukrainian workers. Overall, Ukrainians’ median pay was 85% of the median across the Polish economy, with earnings similar to or slightly below those of Polish workers in most age groups.

Gremi Personal adviser Anna Dzhobolda said extra shifts, weekend work and longer working days could raise monthly earnings even when hourly rates were unchanged. She also cited workers’ mobility and employment in industrial regions as possible factors.

Dzhobolda said a fair comparison should account for hours, hourly rates and working conditions. RBC-Ukraine did not specify when the underlying research was published.
