Knyholav says its new Kyiv warehouse was hit in an overnight missile attack. No employees were hurt, according to the publisher.
Ukrainian publisher Knyholav says it lost tens of thousands of books when a Russian missile attack hit its new warehouse in Kyiv overnight. RBC-Ukraine reported the publisher's statement on October 7.
Knyholav said it had yet to count all the books destroyed or damaged beyond recovery. It plans to assess the final losses once it has full access to the premises.
The losses included new titles received over the past two months and reprints produced to replace books lost in an earlier strike on the company's warehouse in July, the publisher said.
Knyholav said none of its employees were hurt. It pledged to continue operating and replace the lost books.
