In brief

Ukraine needs about 350 a month, the president said as he criticised the level of support from Washington.

Ukraine received only 24 Patriot interceptor missiles from the United States over the past three months, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an ABC News interview reported by RBC-Ukraine on October 24.

Zelensky put Ukraine's requirement at about 350 such missiles a month. His delivery figure covers three months, while his estimate of need covers one month. RBC-Ukraine's report did not include independent corroboration of either figure.

Asked how he felt about Washington's recent actions, Zelensky said he did not regard them as support. Discussing Donald Trump, he described the US president's relations with Vladimir Putin as fairly good and said choosing whether to be friends with Putin was Trump's personal decision.
