Ukrainian dancer and Dancing with the Stars winner Maks Leonov says he has been serving in the armed forces since December 2025. UNIAN reported his account on October 24, quoting an interview with the programme Naodyntsi z Hlаmurom.
Leonov said he serves in the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces. He said he had chosen to keep his service out of the spotlight and only recently disclosed his unit.
He said the brigade’s command occasionally allows him to travel to Kyiv to use his public profile to raise money for the unit. UNIAN’s report did not specify his military role, deployment location or fundraising totals.
