Ukrainian brigade says ground robot rammed and destroyed Russian drone

In brief

The Sicheslav brigade said its robot was returning from a combat mission on the Pokrovsk front when a Russian FPV drone pursued it.

Ukraine’s 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade said one of its ground robots destroyed a Russian first-person-view (FPV) drone by ramming it. RBC-Ukraine reported the brigade’s account on October 7, citing its Telegram channel.

The brigade, part of the 7th Air Assault Corps, said the robot was returning from a combat mission on the Pokrovsk front when the drone began pursuing it. Operators first manoeuvred to avoid being hit, then directed the robot into a collision, which the brigade described as successful.

RBC-Ukraine’s report did not specify the ground robot’s model, the exact location or the date of the encounter.
